Hi Gill and Simon,

“We cannot emphasise enough the importance of accommodation when visiting Scotland. The weather is predictably unpredictable and our week happened to coincide with two storms, with a considerate day off for snowboarding in between.

The cottage itself is warm and very welcoming – exactly what is needed after a day out in the wind and rain. Simon and Gill have clearly put a lot of time and passion into the renovation work. Throughout the week we kept discovering little thoughtful touches which made the stay perfect.

The hot tub has a great view of the loch and is protected nicely from the elements, which made it a great place to unwind with a bottle of something at the end of each day.

The location of the cottage is superb and also served as at great base for a snowboarding holiday (even if the weather had other ideas). Both Nevis Range and Glencoe Mountain Resort were an easy 30 minute drive away. What more could anyone want? …and don’t say snow.

Everything has been just perfect! We have had a wonderful Christmas stay – everything has been made very special. The house is just beautiful and Gill and Simon thought of everything. Lovely surprise to arrive to a Christmas card, Prosecco and sweets – a very nice touch. Beautifully decorated for Christmas too 🙂 Really can’t rate our stay high enough and will highly recommend so very happy! 🙂

Since visiting Gardeners cottage 2 years ago, Gill and Simon have transformed it – it is just fabulous, they really have thought of everything, it is so comfortable and relaxing. The stove is great and the hot tub -well what can you say- even a couple of oldies like us you couldn’t keep out! (would love one at home)! Such a lot of work has gone into the conversion and we are returning home refreshed, relaxed and ready to face the world – all in all a wonderful home – Thanks Gill and Simon xx
